2023 : Oborevwori team rubbishes reported INEC list, affirms that Sheriff remains Delta Guber Candidate

To our dear quintessential Team MORE and Deltans, do not be disturb by the news making the rounds of PDP Delta not having a Gubernatorial Candidate in just released INEC list of Gubernatorial Candidates of Political Parties.

For the avoidance of doubt PDP have successfully forwarded the name of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to INEC as her Delta State Gubernatorial Candidate and Oborevwori have duly completed and uploaded all necessary documents before the deadline of Friday 15th July 2022. Thus Oborevwori remains the Gubernatorial Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party Delta State.

It should be noted that INEC have no deadline in publishing name of candidates of Political Parties. Both Oborevwori and PDP have successfully Appeal the Judgement of Federal High Court, Abuja Division as such the judgement remains merely Academic until Court of final Jurisdiction make finite pronouncement on the matter.

Take notice that Our legal Team are working to clear all legal encumbrances. Oborevwori Mandate cannot be subverted with a miscarriaged judgement that cannot stand the test of every reasonable doubt and legal fire works at the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

Rt Hon Oborevwori have not surrender his hard earned mandate given to him by Delta State PDP vide 590 Delegates on the alter of a mischariaged Justice and as such remained the custodian of the mandate with an irrevocable Certificate of return from PDP.
