The Senate Liaison Officer and APC Chieftain in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, Okakuro Dr Patrick Akamovba has hailed the defection of the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and other key stakeholders from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP into the APC, describing it as a milestone decision that will change the cusp of the Political Scenario forever.
Dr Akamovba reacted shortly after it was made public on Wednesday 23rd of April, 2025 that the Governor is porting to the All Progressives Congress, confirming a long term rumour on the issue.
“I am very delighted to welcome our hardworking and performing Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori into the fore of our Great Party, the APC.
” This move marks a major step in the right direction for all Deltans and for 2027. Governor Oborevwori has proven to be a very steadfast and hardworking Governor to all Deltans with his MORE AGENDA so evident for all to see.
” He not only ticks the right boxes, he completes our Great Party and sets us on a pedestal to victory in 2027.
