NAIS Vice President Comr Jemide Eyitemi sets up a Girl Child Program Initiative in Koko to reach out to teenage Girls in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area’
The Girl Child Program Initiative Organised By The Office Of The Vice President(Comr. Jemide Temi) NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ITSEKIRI STUDENTS ‘National Body’ In Commemoration of the International day of the Girl Child 11th October theme: “Our Girls Our Priority” was a Huge Success.
The event was held in Koko, the headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State With the aim of Educating every Girl Child on

*Procastination and it’s dent on Academic prowess.
*Mental Health Vulnerability
*The Girl Child & Her Hygiene
*Say No to Bully’ & Peer Pressure
Comr. Jemide Temi, Vice President NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ITSEKIRI Students, is a 400 level law student of Novena University Ogume and was able to reach out to 300 Girl Child from age 13-18 in Koko Community, Warri North LGA.
In her speech, on the topic ‘Procastination and it’s dent on Academic Prowess’, she hinted to young girls both in Warri South and Warri North, teaching all girls that Procastination is the ‘thief of time’ and urged the students to start doing things earlier when they can to enable them have the best result and be outstanding in their life pursuit.
In her words she emphasized “there is no short cut to success in this life, you must go through the process and to get a good result to go through it well, for wish you must be disciplined enough to start early to do that which you ought to do and do it well.
” Read early for your exams that so you can have a good result, don’t wait till a week to the exam before you start preparing. No matter how intelligent you are being a student, if you don’t read early to prepare for your exams you are bound to come out with a poor result”.

In attendance was the Wife of the Executive Chairman Warri North LGA Hon.Mrs Omasan Ashima, who admonished the Girls on abstinence from activities or actions that stands in conflict with their purpose in life and destiny line. She urged the Girls to hearken and put into strict practices that which they have been taught by the Girl Child Advocates.
Mrs Ashima assured the Girls that the present Government in Warri North has a deep concern and commitment to their well being, and that the Girl Child Program theme “Our Girls Our Priority” organized by the office of the Vice President, National Association Of Itsekiri Students(National Body) is the beginning of the commitment to come.
Omo Foundation was also on ground to make the girls smile. They gave girl child aid and gifted winners of the quiz session with Academic materials.
