Comrade Mufo Evans from Business Administration has won the Students Union Government Presidential Elections at the Delta State Polythechnic, Otefe-Oghara.

Mufo came first in a very keenly contested elections amongst four (4) other contestants which included 2nd Position winner Comrade Dafinone Larry Opuoru from Electrical Engineering and Comrade Emmanuel Nelson Oghenechoja.

Recall that the Polythechnic Students Union Government Elections was postponed indefinitely on January 13th, 2021 due to infighting among rival supporters that left many hospitalised, the Management went on to announce July 23rd, 2021 for the polls and it has been conducted peacefully.

Reacting on his victory speech, Comr. Mufo thanked the Students and his supporters for voting for him, assuring them that it is a new dawn for Otefe Polythechnic, affirming that his administration will be a people oriented one devoid of segregation as the Interest of Otefe Polythechnic Students must Come first before all.

Mufo thanked his fellow contestants for their dogged fight, hailing them for their desire to wanting to serve the school. He urged them to join him in promoting the institution as only him cannot do it all.
