Fellow Deltans,
I congratulate my brother and friend; Rt. Hon(Chief) Sheriff Oborevwori F.O over his victory at the polls, its a victory for my kingdom and the whole Delta. We put in our best to come out victorious but the will of the people prevailed. In our quest to building a better and greater Delta, we consulted round the length and breadth of our dear state in a bid to securing the ticket but it turned out this way for the growth and development of our great party.
I can’t thank my teaming supporters around the 25 LGAs of the state enough. I appreciate my very party ward Excos for their love and commitment throughout the periods of our consultations. My very strong media team, friends and family who believed in the cause all along. I know you had wished otherwise but we are not God Almighty. It is our responsibility as a party to now look beyond now as we work to strengthen the party to give the victory a final touch.
Special thanks to Your Excellency; Sen(Dr) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for the platform to run and the conduct of a rancor free primaries.
It is my earnest desire and prayers that we will as a party take over the seat of power at the National and state level for the overall interest of Delta and Nigeria at large. Party is supreme and we hope to make it stronger and better.
