Born on February 20th, 1981, Comrade Ighoyota Lucky is one of the fastest growing minds politically in Delta State and is contesting for the Delta State House of Assembly representing Sapele Local Government.
A family man with a wife and three lovely kids, Comrade Ighoyota Lucky is well educated, boasting a Bachelors Degree in Geology and a Masters in Energy and Petroleum Economics from Delta State University, Abraka, Comrade Ighoyota is well grounded and abreast with the nitty-gritty of the plight of residents in Sapele local government.
The Ufuoma Secondary School alumni is a Consultant Petroleum Accountant / Economist, a sociopolitical analyst, a grassroot politician with a strong zest for an egalitarian society.
In 2001, while pursuing a diploma program in Delta State University (DELSU), as a Mathematics Education student, he contested as the Secretary General of the Association of Science Education Students (ASEDS), As part of his service to humanity, Ighoyota delve into selfless tutorials, teaching fellow students Mathematics even as fellow undergraduates.
In 2007 during his final year, Comrade Ighoyota was honoured as the most influential student in the Department of Geology by the Society of Petroleum Engineers SPE) DELSU chapter.
He thereafter continued with community services by opting to teach in Community High School, Ukehe, Igbo-Etiti LGA, Enugu state during my NYSC even when he had an offer with a bank as a marketer.
Ighoyota Lucky is a lover of football, and a philanthropist having empowered a number of youths in Sapele local government over the years, creating jobs opportunities for hundreds with full proof despite never before occupying any political office or carry out any government contracts.
A responsible husband and dedicated father, it is important for the youths and Sapele at large to back the Elume native and rally behind him as the next member representing Sapele at the Delta State House of Assembly.
