The families of Late Unuevworo of Boboroku Sub clan in Idjerhe Kingdom, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State have decried the gruesome murder of their son and father, High Chief Ejovi Doghor by an alleged group of boys who attacked him at his residence in Boboroku town on 9th of December 2022 at around 7:45pm.
According to reports, the murder is not unconnected with the Community Development Chairmanship Election crisis in the community.
Report also noted that Chief Doghor was attacked at his home by a gang of 5 young men with machetes and other weapons and plea from his wife who was at the scene fell on deaf ears as the young men unleashed their weapons on the defenseless Chief.
Before help could arrive the damage had been done with the gang fleeing the scene. Chief Doghor was later taken to the hospital and all efforts to resuscitate him proved unsuccessful as the Unuevworo died at around 1:30am.
An anonymous respondents told newsmen that before the attack, a group of young men numbering to 29 had earlier came to his home to threatening to kill him, a matter he allegedly reported to the Police in Jesse Town.
The family are calling on the relevant authorities to Weigh in on the matter and fish out the killers of the late Unuevworo.
