Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and former minister of State for education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON, has lamented the tragic and untimely demise of Chief Joe Unuame, whose sad event occurred today.

In a condolence message signed by his Media Aide, the incoming Governor commiserated with the Unuame family of Okpare-Olomu in Ughelli south Local Government Area.

He described the deceased as a very hard working and easy going man.

His words: “Joe Unuame, a bossom friend, brother and patriot of Urhobo nation who became an in-law would be missed by plenty given his oratory sagacity etc

“I was shocked to hear of the tragic death of Chief Joe Unuame in a ghastly motor accident with a truck.

“He will be missed by thousands of people whom he had assisted in one way or the other.

‘‘My condolences to his family, the entire State, close associates and the people of Okpare-Olomu community.

“May his soul rest in perfect peace”,, be added.
