Today stands as a memorable day in the history of purposeful leadership and divine favour as H.E. (Dr.) Adegboyega Oyetola, Honorable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, officially inaugurated our beloved Hon. (Mrs.) Akpotu-Ayu Hoplyn as a Member of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA).
This elevation is a shining testament to competence, loyalty, and the undeniable hand of God. Indeed, God is not man! When He decides to uplift, no human verdict can stop His grace.
We offer our warmest congratulations to my Big Sister and leader, Hon. (Mrs.) Hoplyn Akpotu-Ayu, whose quiet strength, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to community development have remained exemplary. Her appointment is not only timely but richly deserved.
This celebration would be incomplete without acknowledging the instrumental role of The Deputy President of the 9th Senate, His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo-Agege. His strategic influence, political goodwill, and consistent commitment to lifting capable sons and daughters of Delta State made this appointment a reality. Senator Omo-Agege has once again shown what true leadership means—using opportunity, access, and influence to open doors for others.
We also extend appreciation to Mr. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for his confidence in competent Nigerians and for giving room to individuals of proven integrity and capacity to serve the nation.
