The Chairman of Niger Delta Youth Council of Nigeria NDYCN Delta State Chapter, Comrade Omoniyi Freedom has called on Gov Sheriff to Urgently Address the issues of insecurity in Ethiope West.
Omoniyi in a statement forwarded to RERO TV said,
“The Primary Responsibility of every Government is to protect lives and Properties of her citizens. Indigenes of Idjerhe kingdom are been kidnapped on daily basis without any intervention from the State Government.
“Our Farmers can no longer access their farmlands because of fulani herdsmen. Yet the state government is silent.
“The Silence of Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborewori over the state of Insecurity in Ethiope West is becoming Worrisome and Alarming, That demands urgent Attention”.
Omoniyi Emphasize on the need for the Governor to declare a state of Emergency in security in Ethiope West local Government Area particularly in Idjerhe Kingdom before it will be too late.
