The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere is set to sponsor another mass wedding for couples, Igbere TV reports.
Apostle Chibuzor revealed that during the mass wedding, he will take care of all the couples’ dresses (both wedding gown for the women and corporate suit for the men).
He also said the church will buy them rings, take care of the reception’s refreshments, bride prices and equally give them marriage certificates.
Apostle Chibuzor made this known via his official Facebook page on Monday.
According to him, “I just remembered the day GOD used me to single handily sponsored 280 singles which is 140 couples wedding.”
“Before then, they have been cohabiting without fulfilling marrital obligations.
So I gave the 140 men money to go and pay the bride prize of their wife.
Bought 140 wedding gowns.
Bought 140 wedding suits.
Bought 140 white shirts and trousers with tie.”
“Bought there wedding cakes.
Fed their guest that came for reception after the wedding.
And by the grace of GOD, I will be organizing it again before Christmas.”
“GOD IS Happy.”
“Fully sponsored through tithes and offerings from OPM church.”
IGBERE TV recalls that in 2016, Apostle Chibuzor fully sponsored and wedded 140 couples in his church in Rivers State.
Among the 140 couples who were tied together in a mass wedding was a 72-year-old man and his 60-year-old woman. They were said to have been living together for more than 45 years without bride price and marriage.
Another bride claimed the wedding has made her break a curse as that was the first time someone in her father’s house will be wearing a wedding gown.
