Very popular custodian of Okpe kingdom and an ardent Deltan, Okakuro Dr Anthony Aghogho Owumi, the Omamigho of Great Okpe kingdom has sent a felicitation message to Delta as the State clocks 34.
In a message forwarded to RERO TV, Okakuro Owumi from the Okpe extraction congratulated the State and the present Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori before expressing optimism for growth for the Oil rich Delta State
“I, Okakuro Dr Anthony Aghogho Owumi, the Omamigho of Great Okpe kingdom wishes to extend my hearty congratulations to our beloved state as we celebrate the 34th anniversary of the creation of Delta State.
” This anniversary marks not only a moment of celebration but also of reflection on our collective journey as a people since 1991. As a Deltan, i am very satisfied with the remarkable progress in peace, unity, and development that our State has recorded in over 3 decades and I firmly believe that our best years are still ahead.
“I must also hail out workaholic Executive Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his dedication and commitment to the advancement of our state through his Renewed Hope for More Agenda. I urge all Deltans to remain positive and continue to support the Governor in delivering on his people-oriented programmes and projects for the greater good of all.
On this ground breaking celebration, I once again extend my warmest congratulations to all Deltans, both at home and in the diaspora. And i urge us that together, let us remain steadfast in our shared vision of a Delta State anchored on justice, unity, peace, and sustainable development.
