Former Gubernatorial aspirant in Delta State, Hon Ejaife Omizu Odebala has dumped the People’s Democratic Party to join the All Progressives Congress, APC just hours before the gubernatorial polls in the state.
It should be recalled that Odebala was amongst the aspirants in the 2022 PDP primaries but came short with Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori emerging as the party’s Flagbearer.
Confirming his departure via a telephone chat with Rero TV, Odebala said “Rero TV I Don join APC ooo Okowa no try”.
The effect of Odebala’s decamping is sure to be heavy on the party as he can be seen pictured with the APC Guber Candidate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege.
