Following the vacuum that was created by the departure of late Hon. Justice Chief D.E Uwerhiavwe who was the immediate past Unu-Okpe (Prime Minister), the revered Okpe monarch, His Royal Majesty, Maj Gen Felix Mujakperuo (rtrd) Mni GFR, Orhue 1, the Orodje Of Okpe Kingdom has today Saturday 15th July 2023 installed Okakuro Michael Ighonerheroga Affe JP, as the new Unu-Okpe, (Prime Minister).
The colourful ceremony was graced by His Royal Eminence, Arch-Bbishop Iboyi Godday in his capacity as the Spiritual Leader Of Okpe Kingdom.
The occasion was an avenue for the Okpe supreme council Udogun and all Okpes worldwide, once again to rejoice with our highly revered Orodje for finding Okakuro Michael Ighonerheroga as the new Unu-Okpe (Prime Minister), of Okpe Kingdom on this colorful occasion.
The Okpe Spiritual Leader appreciate the entire Udogun in council for finding one of their colleague worthy of being honored with such an important position as the Prime Minister of Okpe Kingdom, such is an excellent path toed will bring accelerated peace and development to Okpe kingdom, owing to the newly installed Unu-Okpe antecedents.
The gathering availed Archbishop Iboyi who took the closing prayers at the ceremony at the Orerokpe palace of the Orodje to formerly congratulate the Unu-Okpe for the opportunity to be this elevated, which is an attestation of God’s invisible hands upon him which he must not take for granted.
Archbishop Iboyi appreciate most sincerely, His Royal Majesty for his foresight in always seeing good qualities imbedded in his subjects, which has always metamorphose into positive developmental strides in Okpe land, such also has been been an all round effort in finding a lasting solution to all dispute cases within the kingdom, and I believe that Okakuro Michael will make it a point of duty to effectively represent the palace equitably as a foremost ambassador of Okpe in his own rare class.
It is my prayers that God Almighty grants the newly installed Unu-Okpe the grace and wisdom to function and make the kingdom proud at all times, Archbishop Iboyi Godday adds.
