The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has polled a total of 1,190 votes to emerge as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the Delta 2023 Governorship Elections.
In the primary election held at Government College Asaba, the capital of Delta State, Omo-Agege was the sole aspirant of the party as he polled 1,190 votes out of 1,191 votes cast.
Reacting after the polls, Omo-Agege expressed satisfaction at the smooth process and thanked the delegates for deeming him worthy to represent the party in 2023, before assuring that he will change the dynamics in Delta State, once elected as Governor.
