Popular Okpe son and House of Representatives Hopeful Dr Micheal Erotoma Omuvwie has congratulated the Orodje of Great Okpe Kingdom and the entire Okpe people on the groundbreaking ceremony of the foundation laying of the Palace Annex of the Orodje in Sapele town.
Omuvwie in his message said that the new Palace Annex is long overdue and it shows the commitment of the King to his people as it will bring him much closer to them.
“I salute the Great Okpe People on this significant milestone. I want to congratulate our revered King the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom for this laudable and long overdue initiative. It is much appreciated as it will bring the King much closer to his subjects in Sapele.
“Okpe Kingdom is one of the largest in Nigeria and having a Palace Annex in Sapele is a welcome development. I wish to congratulate our King, and I also want to thank our leaders in Sapele for supporting this project. I urge them to do even more and work closely with our Orodje to move Okpe Kingdom forward”. He concluded
The foundation laying was performed by the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom on Saturday 24th January 2026 in Sapele, Delta State.
