Grassroot mobilizer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Frank Nujimen popularly known as Skypop has bagged another award from the Niger Delta Youth Coalition (NDYC) as Most Outstanding Youth Leader in Niger Delta on Wednesday February 9th, 2022 in Sapele, Delta State.
The presenter of the award Comrade Obukowho Adaji National President of the organization said that the Niger Delta Youth Coalition is made up of Youths from the various states that makes up the Niger Delta region that are dedicated to advancing the cause of good governance, credible leadership and promotion of sustainable development of the Niger Delta region.
We are a non violent group and our motto is “Book for the gun and pen for the bullet”.Our mission is to encourage youth to be independent and part of the decision making process.
Speaking further, Comrade Obukowho Adaji said that Mr Frank Nujimen was nominated to receive this award because of his antecedents. Mr Frank Nujimen has contributed immensely to the growth and development of society as an individual through his various empowerement program he added.
The award is to spur him to do more and encourage other youths out there to follow in the foot steps of Mr Frank Nujimen he said.
The recipient of the award Mr Frank Nujimen CEO of the popular Skypop Hotel appreciated the group for nominating him to receive the award adding that his passion to assist and put smiles on the face on the needy in society was borne out of humanity
He noted that every empowerment program he has done, was done to ameliorate the suffering of the beneficiaries, while thanking God for providing him with the money used in embarking on the various empowerment programs.
Mr Friday Akpore Umurhurhu Chairman of the Skypop Foundation appreciated the group for finding the CEO of the Skypop Foundation worthy of receiving the award as Most Outstanding Youth Leader in Niger Delta, adding that Mr Frank Nujimen as being nominated for Most Outstanding PDP Youth for female empowerment in 2019 and was given a certificate of award in recognition of his Community service to humanity during the first phase of covid 19 in the year 2020, and other several awards for his benevolence.
Those present during the award presentation ceremony are Mr Prince Adams, Lady Grace Ambrose, Comrade Abel Yeri and Comrade Excellent Otaroghene.
