The Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Sapele Chapter Pastor Esiri Johnson formally known as Hon Sunny Oyovwaire has made the nomination list as Coordinator for Sapele Local Government in the proposed palliative distribution by the Government to help ameliorate the harsh economic downturn that has affected Nigerians due to fuel subsidy removal.
Pst. Esiri is among the 25 local Government Coordinators that will make sure the government support gets to the masses and this he pledges to deliver when we spoke to him via a phone conversation where he also thanked the State Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Sapele Political Leaders, the State PDP Chairman Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso.
“I wish to thank our amiable Governor for finding me worthy to serve in this humanitarian task. It gives me utmost joy that the government has chosen to give back to the people as the masses have been worst hit by the removal of fuel subsidy.
” I want to assure the Governor and Sapele residents that I shall carry out this task with relish and will not discriminate or segregate any person whatsoever.
” I promise that everyone will get what is due them without rancor and we shall all smile at the end.
” I want to thank the State Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for the opportunity and I also want to salute the State PDP Chairman, Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso and all Sapele Leaders for deeming me fit to carry out this task”.
Date of inauguration and modalities for the distribution of the palliative shall be disclosed soon.
