The Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, on Monday, said he went around the state’s metropolis to urge people to come out and go about their various businesses.

The Governor made this known on his Twitter page.

Sharing photos, he said, “Today, I went around Enugu metropolis to urge our people to come out and go about their various businesses.

“Ndi Enugu will not continue to sit at home on Monday, the first working day of the week. We should not encourage the crippling of our economy but must work to ensure it is revived.”

The governor had on Thursday last week declared the Monday sit-at-home by the Indigenous People of Biafra to press for its leader’s release as antithetical to the economic interest of the state, saying it should stop from June 6.
