Dear friends and the general public,

This is Friday Peter Akawe. He is diagnosed with kidney failure and has been on dialysis in the last seven months.

The situation got worse and caused his kidneys not to work well enough to keep him alive; hence, now his treatment options are limited to dialysis treatments or a kidney transplant.

Getting regular dialysis treatments is usually two times a week for four hours at a time and it costs a hell of fortune. But a transplant would offer him more freedom and the ability to live a longer, healthier, normal life once again.

A transplant would also give him more time to do the fun things he enjoy most, like spending time with family and friends and contributing meaningfully to the society.

However, he is constrained by the financial implications for a kidney transplant; hence, he is appealing to the general public for fund support to enable him undergo a kidney transplant.

The cost for the kidney transplant is estimated at 20 million naira. Please, let’s come to his rescue. He is presently hospitalized at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH, Ugbowo-Benin, Edo State, Nigeria.

If donating to help facilitate the medical process and costs for this transplant is something you are moved to do, below is his account details:
