Anglican Clergy, Reverend Philip Ogagaoghene Emakpor JP, the Head Teacher of Ejera Primary School, Okuno Ekroda Jesse, in Idjerhe Kingdom, has been given an award as the best Head Teacher in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The award was presented on Thursday 2nd April, 2026 at the grand finale of the debate competition held at the Local Government Education Authority Multipurpose Cooperative Hall Oghara.

Also Mr Friday Idjagu was awarded the Best Teacher in the Local Government Area among others.

Reacting to the award, Rev Emakpor thanked the Organizers, his Co-teachers and pupils for cooperating with him over the years and pledged that the award will spur him to deliver more efficiently in his duty.

At the end of the debate competition, Ajenesan Primary school emerged winner while Jesse Primary school came 2nd position, and 3rd position went to Akpobome primary School.

The debate competition and award ceremony was organized and sponsored by the Education Secretary, Ethiope West Local Government, Mr G.I.S Osuna and was attended by many dignitaries some of whom include, The Education Secretary Warri North LGA, the N.U.T Chairman Ethiope West, NASU chairman, the immediate past chairman of AOPSHON and the current AOPSHON Chairman Ethiope West amongst others.
