The Senate Liaison Officer in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, Okakuro Dr Patrick Akamovba has re-assured the People of Delta Central of the unwavering commitment of Senator Ede Dafinone, the Senator Representing Delta Central Senatorial District of more quality representation at the Federal Level and drum for more patience from Constituents.
Dr Akamovba gave the reassurance during a meeting he hosted with APC Women Leaders across the 11 Wards in Sapele Local Government Area on Friday 6th June 2025.
The meeting was presided over by the Senator Liaison Officer for Sapele Local Government, Chief Dr Patrick O Akamovba and it also saw the presence of Engr Mike Pemu, Hon Famous Sagay, Hon kefe Ogodo and Telma Tonwe.
Dr Akamovba in his speech said, “Today, i wish to thank our able women leaders from the 11 wards in Sapele Local Government Area, and I also want to appreciate all of you for the dogged role you played in electing our workaholic Senator, Okakuro Ede Dafinone to the Senate House.
” The Senator is very pleased with your efforts and he extends his regards. Under two years in office, Senator Dafinone has spearheaded the Urhobo course fervently, pushing for numerous bills to bring development to the People of Delta Central Senatorial District.
“Just recently, you can all see that some of those efforts are beginning to yield rewards. I want to urge you all and by extention the Good people of Delta Central Senatorial District to keep on supporting Senator Dafinone as he is primed to bring forth development to our people.
“I also want to urge you to support the administration of our amiable Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and our President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”. He concluded.
The Women leaders while responding said that the works of Senator Dafinone is visible and that they will keep on working to support him to succeed.
