Michael Eboh, and the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Branch Chairman, Comrade Mercy Igheyen as well as several supervisory councillors.
CSP Olasunkanmi, who led the police team, was accompanied by senior officers, including **ASP Nosa Silas, SP Stephen Ukoba, Ahonsi Aigbokhaevbo, and the Director General of Security, Chief Ikechukwu A. Nwankwo. In his remarks, the DPO expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and stressed the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainable security.
“I came here to seek your cooperation and prayers. The security architecture I’ve seen on ground here is impressive. I have worked in Lagos and other areas, but what I see here is different,” CSP Olasunkanmi said. “If we work together as a team, I am confident we will succeed. Security is a top priority for the governor, and we must continue to follow his vision of making Delta State safe for everyone.”
The DPO also commended his predecessor for laying a strong foundation of security in the area and promised to build on the successes achieved so far. “My predecessor did a wonderful job, and I am here to continue where he left off. With the cooperation of the council and the people of Sapele, we will make this town even safer,” he added.
