Sapele local government council has announced plans to divert traffic at the Okirighwre, Gammon bride.
According to the announcement, the diversion would be for 12days from December 10th, 2024 to December 22nd, 2024.
The diversion is meant to allow workers carry out the rehabilitation of the road.
This was disclosed on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 through the Secretary of the local government council, Hon Raymond Overah.
The statement also stated that motorists, commuters are expected to use alternative route to access Mosogar, Benin, Okirighwre depending on their destination.
Motorists are also advised to be patient as the closure is to mitigate traffic implications and part of the council’s plan to ensure that the road is rehabilitated on time without obstruction.
