PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY, ETHIOPE WEST CHAPTER.
ATTENTION TOWARDS MEDIA WAR AMONG VARIOUS PRINCIPAL’S MEDIA AIDES.
Based on the extraordinary meeting held at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat, Oghara,Delta State on the 2nd of February 2022, the attention of the party in Ethiope West Local Government Area, has been drawn towards the social media war emanating from various principal’s media aides.
These unguided actions and continuous media war, doesn’t represent the views and principles of the party,which we are all working tirelessly to build,in ensuring we have a formidable PDP family in our local government.
PDP is a party of men and women with reputable characters,so therefore, we must conduct ourselves in decent manner,and also caution our media aides and supporters not to aggravate the political climate and create tension that will endangered the peaceful atmosphere and co-existence in Ethiope West.
As a measure to stop the unnecessarily media war,the leadership of the party in Ethiope West,have unanimously agreed and resolved that henceforth, all contestants/aspirants under the party, should caution their various media aides from insulting our leaders publicly in Ethiope West and Delta State in general.
Failure to adhere to this resolution by Ethiope West Executives and Ward Chairmen,such aspirant or principal, would be made to face the full wrath of the law and sanction by the Local Government disciplinary committee of the party.
We enjoined all party faithfuls to conduct themselves in a manner that will promote enduring peace and harmony,as we approach the electioneering period.
