Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and board member of the Nigeria Export – Import (NEXIM) Bank Chief Ede Dafinone has stated that candidates from the All Progressives Congress will defeat flag bearers of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the upcoming generation across the country.
Chief Ede Dafinone while speaking during the inauguration of exco members of the Dafinone Solidarity Movement on Tuesday March, 29th, 2022 stated that the saying that Delta State is a PDP state will soon become a thing of the past come 2023 and will only be heard as rumour while in reality Delta State will be an APC State.
Ede reiterated on the need for all hands to be on deck, so as to coast the party to victory, adding that there were members in the opposition party that are currently dissatisfied with the leaders of their party and the need to canvass such aggrieved person to work for the All Progressives Congress, adding that the party needed more ambassadors to work for the victory of the party.
Speaking further, Ede Dafinone said that the task before the APC come 2023 is achievable if all members work tiredlessly and recruit more person to work for the party. He further added that Politicians from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that are currently dissatisfied with their records should be recruited into the APC, in his words; let us open our door and welcome them and give them a sense of belonging, there is no need closing our doors thinking that we can win on our own, it may be possible, but why take that chance, let us ,allow everyone who is interested in working for us to work, so that we can win convincingly and there will be no doubt after the election, he said.
