Former President General of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Chief Engr. Joe Orode Omene has sent a goodwill message to the immediate past Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his 66th birthday anniversary.
In a statement forwarded to RERO TV, Chief Omene the Ejorhofo of Mosogar Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State expressed his congratulations, describing Okowa as a promise keeper, sighting the promise of delivering an Urhobo Governor in Gov Sheriff Oborevwori as a key attribute ascribed to his personality.
“Today, I congratulate the former Executive Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his birthday anniversary.
” Reaching 66 is a milestone age, it is a depiction of your immense personality and character. During your time as Governor you promised to hand over to a Governor from the Urhobo extraction and that promise you kept by giving us our hardworking current Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
“This is a testament to your strong personality as a man of your word. At 66, as an elder statesman i want to Welcome you to your new age and it is my prayers that you continue to age like fine wine in good health and sound mind.
