A fatal accident involving 18 seater bus and Dangote trailer occurred along Ugbenu before Ologbo bridge in Ethiope West Local Government Area yesterday night 25th May, 2026. Sources said the 18 seater bus was coming from Lagos while the Dangote trailer was coming from Warri. The trailer and the 18 seater bus collided and the bus got burnt. All the passengers in the bus got burnt.
The Executive Chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Council, Hon Pastor Chris Onogba has deposited their remains at Divprotesty mortuary in Oghara. We are using this medium to inform the general public should any of their relatives traveled from Lagos to Delta state yesterday and hasn’t gotten to their destinations should go to Oghara police station so they could check with the Motuary where 8 of corpses were deposited.
