The rate of Insecurity in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State over the past months has become alarming and deserves quick response from the Police.
Ethiope West Local Government Area that used to be a hub of Peace has now become a den of Kidnapping and Theft as Farmers, residents and even Churches are feeling the brunt of insecurity.
Not a day goes by that we don’t hear reports of kidnapping, theft, cultism and other vices threatening peace in Oghara, Mosogar and Idjerhe, the 3 kingdoms in Ethiope West Local Government.
Our farmers can no longer go to their farms as Herdsmen and kidnappers are on rampage kidnapping these very low income earners who work tirelessly to get their delay bread only to be kidnapped and asked to pay millions of Naira that they do not have.
Churches are now a new target as equipment worth millions are being carted away from churches by Hoodlums as we have seen reports flying on a daily basis.
Cultism is also a plaque that has taken the lives of many young men with great prospects in Ethiope West and it doesn’t seem like it will end anytime soon.
As the Chairman, Niger Delta Youth Council of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter, i am using this medium to call on the Commissioner of Police, Delta State to relocate to Ethiope West with his full arsenal to help us quell this evil vices that is causing sleepless nights for our people.
We need proactive actions in this situation as it is getting out of hand. We want an Ethiope West devoid of rancor or strive. We want our farmers to go to their farms without fear and make a living for themselves as Ethiope West is a food basket in Nigeria.
We don’t want our youths dying like chickens in the name of cultism and church theft shouldn’t linger on in our communities.

Please don’t depend on the police alone.This will be roo risky and foolish.Bring in your local fortified youths,make sure they are well armed in ruthless offensive to flush out this criminals and waste them instantly for the water crocodiles and bush animals to feed on.Only way out.You foolishly depend on police or infested and infiltrated Nigerian security outfits by this animals
