PRESS STATEMENT
The Youth Solidarity Congress (YSC), a national pan-African youth organisation with a strong presence across Nigeria, particularly in the South-South geopolitical zone, has expressed its support for Dr. Dayo Israel, the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader, commending his commitment to youth empowerment, leadership development, and grassroots political mobilisation.
The Congress describes Dr. Dayo Israel as a diligent, empowerment-driven politician whose leadership has continued to inspire young people and promote youth participation in governance. According to the organisation, his approach to leadership reflects a commitment to creating opportunities for young Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to national development.
YSC acknowledges Dr. Dayo Israel’s efforts in strengthening youth engagement within the APC and recognises the importance of sustained investment in young people as a foundation for political stability, inclusive governance, and national progress.
The Congress also welcomes Dr. Dayo Israel’s support for the 2027 re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the coming political season presents an opportunity for constructive engagement, policy-based conversations, and increased youth participation in shaping Nigeria’s future.
As a youth-focused organisation committed to solidarity, empowerment, civic participation, and national unity, the Youth Solidarity Congress believes that young people must remain active stakeholders in Nigeria’s democratic process.
